Another successful trip for the Springfields Probus Club. Our first stop was Petwood Hotel for tea and coffee while sampling the atmosphere of the Garden and Hotel with all its historic links to WW2.
We then headed to Doddington Hall a fine example of an Elizabethan Stately home built in 1595. There were gardens and grounds to explore as well as touring the House. A Cafe and Restaurant looked after our needs.
The House was full of paintings including of course of the family who have owned the Hall for unbroken period of over 400 years. Quite rare!
